Community Guidelines

Welcome to Tonie Track! To keep this space safe, fun, and helpful for all Tonies collectors, we ask that you follow these guidelines across our forums, reviews, and collection pages.

1. Be Kind, Respectful, and Supportive

We are an inclusive, kind, and supportive community. We respect and support the Tonies company. Do not post content that is harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or intended to attack another user. You may be removed from this community without warning if you create an unwelcoming environment or share/promote information intended to harm or take advantage of the company.

2. Product Modifications & Safety

This community strictly prohibits the sale or discussion of removing chips or magnets from Tonies figures (often referred to as "magic tonies", "frankentonies", "chip kits", or 3D printed tonies). Physically altered Tonies have not been properly safety tested and components can come loose. Loose magnets can become deadly when accidentally ingested.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

To comply with intellectual property laws, we do not allow the sale, promotion, or linking to items that infringe on legally protected materials. This includes, but is not limited to:

• File sharing/selling, or discussions on pirating techniques.
• Audio ripping from YouTube, Spotify, or other streaming services.
• Copyright file sharing via Google Drive or Facebook groups.
• Sales of legally protected characters on painted Creative-Tonies, decals, box covers, and other homemade accessories.

4. Buying, Selling & Trading (Forums)

If you are using the forums to buy, sell, or trade, please note that admins are not responsible for any transactions. To protect the community:

• Proof of Ownership: Photos with a handwritten note displaying the seller's username and the current date are strictly required for all sales and trade posts.
• No Scamming: Selling and never mailing, making false or frivolous PayPal claims, or selling items in worse condition than described will result in immediate removal from the group.
• Communication: Ghosting is not permitted. Be wary of any sellers commenting "pm me" or contacting you unsolicited via private message.

5. Review & Photo Content Standards

• Keep it Relevant: Reviews should focus on the specific Tonie, its audio content, physical build quality, or educational value.
• Family Friendly: Because we are a community centered around children's toys, all text and uploaded images must remain strictly PG. Profanity, inappropriate imagery, or suggestive content will result in an immediate ban.
• Original Content: Only upload photos that you took yourself. Do not upload watermarked images or content belonging to other creators without permission.

6. Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy. If you add an item to a default list (e.g., your "Owned" list), that data is strictly private to you. If you explicitly choose to share your folder publicly, your text notes will be visible, but your custom photos will always remain hidden and private. However, all uploaded data—even private data—must still comply with our Terms of Service regarding illegal or explicit content.

7. Moderation & Enforcement

Our volunteer moderation team works hard to review content. By participating in this community, you agree that moderators have the right to edit, redact, or permanently remove any content (forum posts, reviews, text, or photos) that violates these guidelines, at their sole discretion. Repeated violations may lead to your account being banned from the forums and from submitting future reviews.
